AI in Aneurysmal Hemorrhage

Aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a severe form of stroke, carries a 40% mortality rate within thirty days. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is crucial for detecting, segmenting, and aiding clinical decisions in SAH cases.
This review synthesizes the current state of AI and Machine Learning (ML) tools for SAH patient management, offering insights into future advancements.
A systematic review of databases, including Cochrane, MEDLINE, Scopus, and Embase, identified 21 relevant articles from an initial pool of 507.
Studies highlighted improved mortality prediction, enhanced diagnostic accuracy using clinical scores and imaging, and potential biomarkers for poor outcomes.
AI/ML technologies show significant promise in expediting SAH care systems, emphasizing the importance of staying informed for timely interventions in critical conditions.
